Biography

Alexandre is a full-time PhD student in the Department of War Studies, King’s College London.

His research focuses on law enforcement response to mass casualty attacks in France, Western Europe and the United States.

Alexandre is a Visiting Fellow at the Protective Security Lab at Coventry University and an Associate Researcher at the Gendarmerie Nationale Research Center (CRGN). He obtained a LLM in National Security and US Foreign Relations Law from the George Washington University Law School in Washington DC and master’s degree in law from Université Paris-Saclay in Sceaux.

He works as a law enforcement officer, security consultant and analyst in the French national security apparatus, specialising in terrorism, mass shootings, and violent extremism. He is the author of Le Jihad en France: 2012-2022 (not yet available in English).
